Navigation Guide

This guide explains how to move between the documented ILS modules and find the right documentation section quickly.

Most operational apps in the ILS Platform follow a similar layout:

┌─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
│ Logo │ Service Name │ Search │ User Menu │ │
├──────────┼──────────────────┴──────────┴─────────────┴──────┤
│ │ │
│ Side │ Main Content Area │
│ bar │ │
│ │ │
│ Nav │ │
│ │ │
├──────────┴──────────────────────────────────────────────────┤
│ Footer │
└─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘

The header typically contains:

ElementFunction
LogoReturns to the module dashboard or home screen
Service NameShows which module you are using
SearchFinds items within the current module, if implemented
User MenuProfile, settings, logout, or environment actions

The sidebar is where most of the recovered structure now lives in this docs site:

  • Overview pages for each module
  • Features pages for specific screens or functions
  • Workflows for step-by-step operational tasks
  • Technical sections for APIs, schemas, and architecture

Some modules expose internal links or service switchers, but not every app uses the same header. In practice, teams usually move between modules using direct URLs, bookmarks, or links from internal dashboards.

  • Start from the sidebar on the left to open a module overview.
  • Use the section groups to jump to recovered screenshot pages and technical references.
  • Search the docs site when you know a feature name but not its module.
  • Open Technical when you need APIs, schemas, or architecture notes.
  • Use this docs site first for feature walkthroughs and screenshots.
  • Check FAQ for quick answers.
  • Escalate module-specific issues to the owning team if the docs and the live app diverge.
